CHANGES… I hate changes! I am now struggling to get this page where it belongs, because the program changed. Maybe that’s because I’m getting up in age, and every change has a learning curve and it’s getting harder to master all these new things.

Think about the latest changes to Photoshop: the OPEN button in Camera Raw moved from the middle to the right! Wonderful; not! I can’t tell you how many times I think I lost the picture, because I pressed Done instead of Open…

We’re still in the middle of the pandemic and not meeting in person with the Camera Club members. That is also a huge change: from meeting in person to a Zoom meeting. We’re getting better at it and we added a Feedback Friday Zoom meeting where we discuss images from our members and try to CHANGE them for the better! Check out the Calendar section of this website for the dates.

In the last month we had two excellent webinars: Macro Photography with Mike Moats (http://tinylandscapes.com) and “Finding You in Your Photography” by Blake Rudis (http://f64academy.com). I applaud all professional photographers who put these programs on for camera clubs and I try to support them as much as I can. Lisa Langell was one of the first photographers who did this for us and her webinars are very inexpensive, so I signed up for at least three. At the end of the month I will learn about copyright from her friend Ruth Carter and I’m looking forward to help our members with this subject.

The copyright subject came up on the website of the Ormond Beach Observer, where there was a button BUY this Photo in articles with our picture. We straightened things out with the Observer and on August 10 they did an excellent article on the winners of our Long Exposure Assignment (http://ormondbeachobserver.com).

Now I have to try and get this article to the right place on this website, wish me luck…

Till the next time,

Ans
