Always difficult to try and find a subject for this blog. It is intended to give information to our club members, but this time it will be a short one with exciting news.

We are always looking for venues to exhibit our work and this year we found a great one: the Nicole Stott Gallery in the Student Union Building of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The pictures of our first field trip on January 3 can be found under the events tab.

We showed those pictures in our March meeting in the presence of James Roddey, Director of Communications and his wife Amy. Mr. Roddey was impressed and we went from there. Richard (Rosenthal) and I had a meeting with Mr. Roddey and Kristy Amburgey, Associate Director – Office of Student Affairs, who oversees the exhibits in the Gallery.

It is set: our exhibit in the Nicole Stott Gallery will open on DECEMBER 2!

A lot has to be worked out before we will have an exhibit worthy of this wonderful venue. We will have an evening field trip to make more images and we will have another daytime field trip to give everybody in the club the opportunity to shoot on this wonderful campus.

The members will decide whether they will take part in this exceptional exhibit and which image(s) they will enter. If there are more than 50 images the board and Mr. Roddey will decide which images will be part of the exhibit.

We will also have a presentation of all images taken on campus in the Auditorium to give all our members the opportunity to be a part of this!

Till next time,

Ans
